It’s finally happening—Friendly Noise is making things officially official! Join them on Friday, January 17th, at 5:00 PM as they cut the big ribbon with some even bigger scissors!

After the ceremonial snip, stick around for wine and cider specials plus complimentary snacks to celebrate their grand opening. It’s the perfect chance to welcome this new local spot to the community, sip something delicious, and enjoy the friendly vibes.

Groundhog Day 5k is approaching!

Get Ready to Race! 🏃‍♀️ Moorpark's Groundhog Day Fun is Here

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 1, for the 13th annual Groundhog Day Race at Moorpark High School! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or just want to enjoy a day of fun, there’s something for everyone:

5K Race: A fast, chip-timed course at 8 a.m. (Registration starts at 6:30 a.m.)

1-Mile Fun Run: “Catch the Groundhog” kicks off at 9 a.m., perfect for kids 11 and under.

Finisher medals for young participants, T-shirts for all registrants (sign up by Jan. 19 to guarantee yours!), and discounts for early birds! Stick around for post-race fun: awards, refreshments, raffles, and more. Proceeds support Moorpark High’s track and cross-country teams, so come out and cheer on our athletes!

The College Raiders Recap!

Conference play started with a bang as both the men’s and women’s basketball teams dominated their matchups with double-digit wins! The women’s team, in particular, is putting up video-game numbers, hitting 100 points three times during their seven-game win streak. They’re outscoring opponents by an average of 20 points per game—unstoppable!

Up next, both teams return home to battle Allan Hancock on Saturday. With undefeated conference records on the line, it’s time to show up and cheer them on!
