Upcoming MHS Performances!

Moorpark High School’s Performing Arts program is taking center stage with two incredible productions you won’t want to miss!

First up is the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy You Can’t Take It With You, running Feb. 26–28 at 6 p.m. This hilarious 1930s tale follows the clash between the quirky Sycamore family and the prim-and-proper Kirbys.

Then, get ready for Hadestown, the Tony Award-winning musical inspired by Greek mythology. Witness the epic retelling of Orpheus, Eurydice, Hades, and Persephone in a stunning blend of music and storytelling. Showtimes are April 17–19 and 24–26, with performances at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, 7 p.m. on Fridays, and two shows (1 p.m. and 7 p.m.) on Saturdays.

MHS Bounces Back!

In a much-needed turnaround, Moorpark snapped their four-game losing streak with a thrilling 56-55 victory over the Channel Islands Raiders. The game’s MVP? Tyson Howarth, who delivered an incredible triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. When Howarth hits the boards hard, Moorpark wins—now 4-2 when he grabs 10+ rebounds.

Shoutout to Cole Brown as well, who set a career-high with six rebounds while adding 13 points to the scoreboard.

This win bumps Moorpark’s record to 9-11 and ends Channel Islands’ impressive six-game winning streak.

Next Game: Moorpark faces Oak Park on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. The Musketeers have scored at least 55 points in their last three games, so expect another strong offensive showing. Let’s keep the momentum going, Musketeers!
