Just three days ago, Moorpark High School’s Boys Basketball teams hit the court for their season opener against Viewpoint High School from Calabasas. It was an exciting evening of hoops as both the Varsity and JV squads worked hard to set the tone for the season ahead.
The Varsity Musketeers gave it their all but faced tough competition, ultimately falling to Viewpoint with a final score of 67-49. Despite the loss, the team showed determination and grit, which promises an exciting season to come.
On the other hand, Moorpark’s JV team brought home a strong victory, defeating Viewpoint 59-42. Their impressive performance showcased teamwork and skill, giving fans plenty to cheer about.
While the Varsity team didn’t notch a win this time, the season is just getting started, and the Musketeers are sure to come back stronger in their next matchups. Stay tuned and keep supporting Moorpark basketball!
